Oblique Imaging Systems
OIS-L4B
High flexibility
The OIS.L 4B includes additional to the OIS-L a NIR camera for Nadir. That way a 4 band solution captures data for environmental requests beside precise mapping and oblique images.
The OIS.L 4B integrates the latest technology of Phase One, the IXM sensor. Small dimensions, back light illuminated CMOS sensor and a fast capture rate make this setup a full metric instrument. The OIS.L can be equipped with different lenses and image orientations as well as a flexible range of mounting angles adding a high flexibility for your project.
What do we use?
Capture rate
For the oblique cameras the iXM-100 sensor (100 MPIX) with 80 mm lenses are used while for nadir the iXM-RS 150 (150 MPIX) with a 70 mm lens is placed in the center. The NIR is a iXM 100 achromatic modified for NIR. It replaces the IR cut off filter by a NIR pass filter and is equipped with a 50 mm lens.
With a capture rate of 2 fps it is the fastest high resolution sensor on the market. Together with the integrated iX Controller and iX Capture software, full access to the image quality is guaranteed. Using the daisy chain technology, all 6 cameras are perfectly synchronized and the geotags are instantly transcribed to image data (exif log).
Components
Image Processing
The cameras are mounted extremely closely to provide low vignetting by the camera hatch. All components are designed for high-accuracy mapping. With a resolution up to 2 cm GSD it is a fully metric system and the special care of the mounting guarantees a precise calibration of the bore side angles as well. The cameras’ tilt angles can be modified between 30 and 45 degrees. The complete system is delivered with a calibration certificate.
For image processing of Nadir NIR, CIR, RGBI and NDVI, the iX Capture software enables to create these various formats and distortion free merged images in one step. This software can be used to batch process the RAW formats to tiff or other formats as well. For more sophisticated image processing, Capture one software is part of the delivery bundle.
Smooth workflow
What you get
The AeroStab-XL gyro stabilized mount is able to host the OIS-L. Our AeroTopoL FMS is perfectly designed for this camera setup and combined with our AeroDiDOS GNSS-INS to generate directly referenced data for a smooth workflow.
What you get is a highly accurate and sound mapping system for generating 3D city models with an outstanding precision and environmental monitoring sensor as well!
